Hastelloy® Wire Manufacturer
Versatile, high temperature, corrosion-resistant
Stainless Steel Products manufactures Hastelloy ® C276 Alloy in round wire and flat wire, cut to length for the performance you need for the most demanding uses. Hastelloy ® wire excels in extreme and corrosion-heavy environments, resisting pitting and cracking very well.
Hastelloy ® is a registered trademark of Haynes International
Attributes
Hastelloy ® C276 Alloy is one of the most popular special alloys, in part due to the high resistance it holds for corrosion in even the most extreme environments.
Hastelloy ® offers a long list of benefits when made into wire:
- Corrosion Resistant.
- Very Durable in Extreme Environments
- Minimizes Carbide Precipitation in Welded Joints.
- Good for Cold Working.
- Good Machinability.
Having the right blend
Hastelloy ® C276 Alloy is a blend of carbon, chromium, cobalt, iron, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, phosphorus, silicon, sulfur, tungsten and vanadium materials.
This blend creates an alloy that excels in applications that demand supreme levels of corrosion resistance, which are commonly found in extreme industrial environments. Hastelloy ® wire is heavily resistant to crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking and pitting as well.
